Vehicle Safety Institute, L.L.C. (VSI) is based out of Yuma, Arizona. VSI has been providing motorcycle safety training in Arizona and California since 2003. VSI is an authorized third-party vendor for the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division and recognized sponsor for the California Motorcycle Safety Program. VSI uses the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) curriculum.

Basic Rider Course

The Basic Rider Course is designed for new riders. The course is 15 hours of instruction over 3 days. Motorcycles are provided. Successful completion of class waives all testing at Arizona MVD* and will waive the riding test at the California DMV. California residents must take the class in California.

Experienced Rider Course License Waiver

The License Waiver course is designed for riders who have a minumum of six months continuous riding time and possess a valid motorcycle permit. The course is five hours and is taken with your motorcycle. Successful completion of class waives the riding test at Arizona MVD*

Experienced Rider Course Skills Practice

The Skills Practice course is designed for riders who already possess a valid motorcycle endorsement who may want reduced insurance rates or to meet the requiremets for military installations. The course is five hours and is taken with your motorcycle.
