BASIC RIDERCOURSE

  The Basic RidersCourse (BRC) is an entry level motorcycle rider training course. It is designed for students who have never ridden a motorcycle before. It is also a great refresher course for individuals who haven’t ridden in awhile or have very little riding experience.

   The first half the course concentrates on motorcycle control operation and proper riding equipment. We start out learning where all the controls are and what they do, then move on to what you should wear while riding and why.

  The second half of the course we concentrate on street skills. The skills you will need when operating your motorcycle on public roadways. These skills include learning what a safety margin is, lane positioning, and riding skills.

The class length is 15 hours. Class starts at 6:00 PM Friday Night.

Class schedule 6:00-8:30  PM Friday   Classroom

                        7:00-1200  AM Saturday         Riding

                        1:00-3:30   PM Saturday          Classroom

                        7:00-12:00 AM Sunday            Riding

 

Motorcycles, helmets and gloves are provided. Recommend students bring their own helmet and gloves.

 

Students are required to wear long pants, long sleeves, over the ankle shoes/boots and eye protection.

 

Upon successful completion of the class you will be issued an Arizona “Professional Driver Training Certificate”. This certificate enables the rider to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.

 

LICENSE WAIVER RIDERSCOURSE

 

  The License Waiver RidersCourse (LWRC) is for riders who already own a motorcycle and posses a motorcycle operator permit.  The course discusses proper riding equipment and on street riding skills necessary to operate a motorcycle safely on public roadways.

 

  The course is 5 hours.  Class starts at 7:00 AM Sunday

  Class schedule 7:00-12:00 AM           Riding

 

Students are required to bring their own motorcycle. The must wear a DOT approved helmet, full fingered gloves, eye protection, long pants, long sleeves and over the ankle shoes/boots.

 

Note: Students may rent a motorcycle for $50.00 subject to availability. 

 

 Upon successful completion of the class you will be issued an Arizona an Arizona “Professional Driver Training Certificate”.  This certificate enables the rider to obtain a motorcycle endorsement.

SKILLS PRACTICE RIDERSCOURSE

 

The Skills Practice RidersCourse (SP) is for riders who already have motorcycle endorsement. This course is for riders who want to brush up on their skills or who may have purchased a different type motorcycle and want to practice their skills on a closed course with coaching from certified RiderCoaches.

 

  The course is 4 hours.  Class starts at 7:00 AM Sunday

  Class schedule 7:00-11:00 AM           Riding

 

Students are required to bring their own motorcycle. The must wear a DOT approved helmet, full fingered gloves, eye protection, long pants, long sleeves and over the ankle shoes/boots.

 

 Upon successful completion of the class you will be issued a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) completion card. This card may help with insurance rates and organization requirements.
